Brompton Limited Nickel Edition

We are so pumped that we are lucky enough have our hands on some of the Brompton Nickel Edition in Canada as they were very hard due to a limited production run of 1500 available worldwide and each of them have a special stamp and number to prove it.

First question, why use the high phosphorus Nickel plating usually reserved for deep sea drilling and space ships?

From a technical standpoint the high phosphorus nickel has very desirable properties such as anti-corrosion, high wear resistance and thickness uniformity and has a melting point of about 880 degrees Celsius. If you want to nerd it out like we do check out the Nickel Development Institute analysis.

Oh yah and the most important part….. it looks F-BOMB AMAZING!!!! Peeling open that first box with the Brompton Nickel edition was euphoric.  It was hard not to swear out loud. Yes, its that good.

Taking it out of the box was even better, with the brushed nickel frame look and all blacked out components from the the limited black edition with black rims, hubs, spokes, cranks, pedals, brakes, seat, seat post, handle bar, fenders and frame extremities.  The blacked out components gives you that stealthy look while drawing you into the Nickel flash…nicely done Brompton.

So is it worth it?

Heck ya…it is by far the Hottest Brompton yet and definitely a head turner and easily mounted on your wall for some bike art when you are not riding it. Brompton actually includes a special polishing rag for this purpose. If you want to join this exclusive club and see pricing check out our Nickel Edition page and do it quickly.  They will not last long.
